Chemi Tech Group, continuing its expansion into solar manufacturing, has commenced operations at its new Solar Module Mounting Structure (MMS) production facility near Jaipur.
Strategically located on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, the unit enjoys excellent connectivity—just 2 hours from Delhi, 1 hour from Jaipur, and capable of serving all major locations in Uttar Pradesh within 4–8 hours. Key destinations across Maharashtra, Gujarat, and South India can be reached within 24–48 hours, enabling Chemi Tech to ensure swift and reliable deliveries across India.
The plant will manufacture Hat Purlins, C-sections, U-sections, and Strut Channels in thicknesses ranging from 0.8 mm to 3 mm. Customers can choose from a variety of material options including Hot Dip Galvanized, Galvalume, Pre-GI, and Magnelis. With an initial production capacity of 50,000 tonnes per annum—equivalent to supporting over 2,000 MW of solar projects—the company aims to scale up to 75,000 tonnes by the end of 2025, and 150,000 tonnes per annum by 2027.
This is Chemi Tech’s second manufacturing facility. Its first unit, located in Hyderabad, produces FRP Walkways, Cable Trays, and Handrails. The Hyderabad unit is also expected to begin production of FRP-based Solar MMS by the end of this year, further expanding the company’s product offerings.
Equipped with high-precision roll-forming lines and robust in-house engineering capabilities, the Jaipur facility offers structural design services using STAAD and FEA—provided to customers at no additional cost. These services help ensure that each mounting structure is optimized for strength, durability, and site-specific conditions and wind loads.
Aided by ERP-enabled tracking systems and a strong logistics network, Chemi Tech is committed to fast, dependable delivery and project support throughout the country. The facility also adopts a sustainability-first approach, incorporating solar power generation, rainwater harvesting, and waste recycling—underscoring Chemi Tech’s commitment to responsible manufacturing.
Speaking on the occasion, Divyam Gupta of Chemi Tech Group said,
“We noticed a significant gap in the rooftop solar market—particularly the lack of awareness and focus on MMS quality. Many installers still rely on outdated or substandard materials. Through this new facility, we aim to introduce advanced materials like Galvalume and Magnelis to the mainstream and raise the overall quality benchmark for MMS in the rooftop sector. Naturally, we will cater to Ground-Based projects as well, but this unit will be a turning point in Rooftop MMS, especially Pradhan Mantri Suryaghar Scheme”
Chemi Tech plans to stock the material at all the 12 warehouses across the country. With this facility, Chemi Tech Group takes a decisive step toward building a more reliable, scalable, and future-ready backbone for India’s solar infrastructure.
